I'm looking to sell 10 metres of beautiful French silk crepe in pale gold.
BRAND NEW - NEVER USED!

YOUR DREAM DESIGN
I bought this fabric from D'Italia in 2016 with the vision of turning it into an elegant, fitted gown for my beach wedding in December (like the one pictured). However, my wedding was unfortunately cancelled, and as such, the fabric has remained completely untouched. It has been kept safely in the office of my professional dressmaker, on the original roll from the manufacturer, wrapped in plastic.
Wedding dress shopping can be tricky - a lot of the affordable "off the rack" dresses feel cheap and nasty, but the more sophisticated designs just about come with a mortgage! Having your dress made specifically for YOU is the ideal solution to this problem.
With this silk, you could keep your design simple, or add lace and other embellishments for a more detailed look. Have your dream J'Aton / Leah Da Gloria / Galia Lahav / Steven Khalil / Inbal Dror etc. gown for a fraction of the cost. No need to choose between your house deposit and your dream dress... you can have both!
FABRIC DETAILS
I have photographed my swatch of the silk against a stark white background for contrast purposes - note the fabric has a gentle, lustrous sheen. It's not tacky/shiny like satin or inexpensive silk, but instead has a subtle, soft texture which flatteringly catches the light and diffuses it. It is a fairly lightweight fabric with a stunning natural drape (not clingy), and is a dressmaker's favourite due to it's versatility across many different styles. beach wedding dresses cheap
The colour is technically "pale gold" but is close in tone to other gowns I have seen called "bone" or "nude". I have medium to fair skin, and found the warmth much more complimentary than shades of white. It's also the kind of colour you could wear again on another occasion.
Together with the silk I bought some matching embellishments (crystal/pearl trim) - I can include these or not, as you prefer.
